Ben Nel­son on the Stu­pak Amendment:

“If there’s no pub­lic option, per­haps some of the [abor­tion] prob­lem goes away.”

I think we have 60, and I’m thrilled that the com­pro­mise we’ve reached has con­ser­v­a­tives crow­ing about how it’s a sure road to the pub­lic option. Now we wait to hear the results of Pelosi’s nego­ti­a­tion with her cau­cus to see if they buy in.
