Obama Health Bill Is What Republicans Want

This tweet from the Senate GOP feed is amazing. Quoting Hatch, it claims:

There’s been no real effort to get together on the things we can get together on. The attitude has been take it or leave it.”

How can we allow Republicans to get away with this? The Democratic legislative team has bent over backwards to include every sensible proposal from the GOP caucus, going so far as to establish a White House webpage listing all the Republican ideas that have been included in the health bill. The bill itself is almost identical to the 1993 Republican proposal, as well as to the package that Mitt Romney and Scott Brown have lauded for its success in Massachusetts.

The Republican health-care plan.

The proposal that’s passed through both houses of Congress is eminently bipartisan, even if Republicans won’t admit it.
