How come it’s okay to freely re-​​distribute the money tax­pay­ers worked hard to earn but not the music U2 worked hard to create?

1) This doesn’t even make sense.

2) The answer prob­a­bly lies some­where in a Gov 101 text­book, or, if Doug is too lazy for that, he could try the Con­sti­tu­tion. It would be nice if Doug would read one of those before writ­ing any more about the pow­ers of gov­ern­ment, par­tic­u­larly the “Power To lay and col­lect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises.”
